Rescue Emergancy Care 2 day First Aid
A two day course (16 hours). The emergency first aid course is designed to introduce a systematic way of first aid for managing casualties. Topic learning and practicals intermixed with scenarios of real situations. The course includes:
• The fundamental workings of the body, in particular the heart, lungs and airway
• Assessing a casualty
• Introduces a system to cope with all incidents as safely as possible
• Deciding how to deal with an accident or incident
Awareness of delayed medical help and adverse environmental conditions
Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Personal Water Craft (Jet Ski award)
Personal Water Craft is the technical name for a Jet Ski. This is the Royal Yachting Associations certificate of competence for driving and operation and personal watercraft safely. This certificate is recognised throughout the UK, Ireland and UK based business working abroad. This course will be delivered on our Yamaha Wave Runner 4-stroke PWCs.
Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Level 2 Power Boat Award
This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. This course will take place on our 6m Cobra RIB
British Canoe Union (BCU) 4 Star Sea Kayak award
This is a minimum requirement of personal competence for those seeking to lead others in a sea kayak. This certificate is recognised throughout the UK and Ireland
Sea Kayak Navigation Course
This course is a pre-requisite for the Level 4 Sea Kayak Course
ILM Level 2 Diploma in Team Leadership
This combined knowledge and competency based qualification is ideal for new team leaders who want to develop themselves as leaders and managers. It provides learners with the opportunity to learn and implement the core skills needed in today’s dynamic business environment. The qualification also forms part of the ILM Level 2 Apprenticeship in Team Leading.
The Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) Archery Leaders Award
This will qualify candidates to run safe archery sessions. This certificate is recognised throughout the UK.
Cycling Ireland Sprocket Rocket Coach
Sprocket Rocket focuses on delivery to youths aged 5 to 11 years old, although it can be delivered successfully to anyone of any age. The programme focuses on 4 main skills; Cornering, Pedalling, Braking and Balance. Throughout the Sprocket Rocket Programme the cyclist is brought through three progressions in each of these skills. It is ideal for learning and developing skills and can be delivered by clubs, teachers, parents or anyone else involved with young cyclists.
Balanceability Instructor
Whether you are a teacher, independent instructor or from a leisure organisation; delivering the programme in school, after school, at the weekends or on holiday camps – you will be helping children towards their first real taste of independent cycling and it is a huge privilege to be part of that learning experience. Running safe and enjoyable sessions is paramount and the training day will prepare you for this.
